Like i said, i dont have any drama's with players wanting the best deal they can financially. Go back and look at anything i've posted, i always say nobody is turning down big money. I just cant stand how they all trot out the same bullshit lines. Nobody is going to begrudge any player looking out for themselves financially. Just be honest.

Its not the way the likes of Fifita have come across though. I'm sure if i could be bothered to ( which i'm not ) i could go and find heaps of players who say things like the money isnt important in their decision making and they will stay where they are happy, only for them to take the money and go elsewhere.

I think what people forget about fifita is on top of saying he loved the club and everything pointed to him staying, the club also helped him out of a Bali prison.

No matter which way you want to shape it (eg any club would, it was his money (doubt)), the fact of the matter is that it wasn't any club, it was the club he was saying he loved and hadn't signed a contract for yet. I don't care if the broncos did it bcos they wanted him to sign, I didn't see the titans going over there and they wanted him to sign. And even if there was a motive to do it, so fuvking what?! It's still a good deed that DID NOT GET REPAID.
My employer wouldn't do it for me, I doubt the vast majority of employers would for their employees, mo matter how important. I can't believe how much this gets forgotten about.

Hasn't been a lot of rumours of note since the Herbie schmozzle, either way, but I noticed his entire Ben Ikin arc played out, and also about Payne opening talks with the club (confirmed later by his agent).

The guy goes to every press conference, which you can often watch in full. It's easy enough to join the dots with most of his stories. I don't find him as triggering as you lot. He's not particularly interesting.

Weidler (I know) reporting that the Knights are looking to overhaul their roster and that means that Bradman Best and Daniel Saifiti could leave the club if the right offer came along.

while I wouldn't go after Best as i'm pretty happy with our Herbie replacement options for next year ... Saifiti could be a good option to replace Flegs (even better option in the unlikely event Haas leaves after the 2024 season)

He seems happy here, and will get a very good offer, so I'm not really too worried about another NRL team poaching him.

The dark horse would be the reported European union money. But I'm just not sure he'd be prepared to either leave his family or uproot his family to move to the other side of the world ... especially given some of the legal issues surrounding his family
