Is it just me or is Gus a real c**t? Twice now he's gone out of his way to poach our best young prospects before they've played qcup. Both times he's offered them a top 30 contract and a starting spot in a struggling club. Reece Walsh got done for coke and almost imploded whilst Chicken Sandwich is now injured from getting smashed every week and likely to lose his spot to Sexton. The man is a real danger to young players.

He's been very vocal about it in the past that he wants clubs that he is managing to be run like the Brisbane Broncos.

That's not the part that worries me. It's the promising of starting spots to players that he doesn't know (and hasn't had in his own clubs system) before they are ready purely so he can lure them to a struggling club. Seems a bit irresponsible.

Gus has just come out through Dogs media and said he sees Oloapu as a 13. Wasn't that one of the reasons he wasn't happy with us because we wanted to turn him into a lock or backrower?

Every time he mentions Walsh now he acts like he discovered him, as if he was some unknown at the broncos when he poached him.

Can't wait to hear the uproar from NSWRL media given Haas is under contract until the end of next year and no one should be allowed to talk to him.

This one real danger of allowing people to have one foot in football management and the other in the media. Gus isn't talking to Haas, but he is publicly able to message him to work around the restrictions.
