They dont have many quality haves, but there are some i think they take for granted a bit. Jonny Lomax has consistently been the best half in Superleague for the last 5 or 6 year, if not longer. He would kill it over here.

Milford , development ? Wha ? He played in a GF 5-6 years before . I would hope he was fully developed by 6-8 years in the comp .

Dearden got shafted . I was a TD fan from when I 1st saw him play .He didn`t dominate in Q Cup so hard to predict how it has turned out .
But it took Chad and a hard preseason to make him .

Anyone else find it 'extraordinary' that the cowboys have been able to re-sign just about everyone (except Gilbert?) they wanted too without much media fanfare or talk of upgrades despite their massive improvements? I'm guessing the house prices in Townsville are plummeting given their owners and all these 'bargain/loyal' contracts happening.
If this was our team after their season we would have lost at least half of them to million dollar contracts elsewhere... salary cap working once again aye

They might be able to utilise him as a hooker that can also be a small bustling forward.

His defence is more than good enough to hold the middle so it literally becomes about whether he can get himself between tacklers and find his front... which I think he can because he done it at times for us over the last two years.

He probably won't be a permanent in the 17, because they have Connor Watson already doing that role, but if they can get him doing it then he will be a useful squad member that can come in when needed.

Every team in the NRL is looking for that kind of player so it would also help Turpin's longevity in the game.

I don't think he's got much longer in the game... his knees are shot and he can only get through 15-20mins a game.

I can see him going back to Tigers as that mentor style signing.

I don't think Fifita in that role works for us though.

He wouldn't be a main starter. Keep his fitness managed and limit his Qcup game time. Could be a valuable backup.

Yes hes outwardly an asshole - but hes grown up a lot. I played with and against him and his brothers. Easily manageable attitude wise but carrys a big heart for his team. He would be a cheap signing.

Well Robinson is a better coach than Kevvie. Be intersting to see if his limitations are still around at somewhere like the Rorters.
