The Mole rumour that the club had given him permission to look elsewhere was confirmed by his agent, and he allegedly spoke to the Roosters at some point (which came to nothing). Looking at his immediate predicament, he has to be behind Smoothy and Mozer at regaining the 14, so maybe he's just happy to take the money, play some Cup and sit it out, hoping another club shows interest later in the season.

Obviously they bring there positives respectively but countless times a game there would be a stupid lack of discipline action late in the count by one of those 2. Piakura is a different type of ill disciplined to Kurt. He is more what Flegler used to with aggression whereas these days Tom and Kurt would always give away stupid penalties in the ruck that has never been Piakura’s issue, I also felt Piakura fixed that up big time last year.
