Guys, can confirm the following have been signed by the Broncos on train and trial deals for 2025:

Gehamat Shibasaki (former Bronco and Rabbitoh)
Ronald Philitoga (currently playing for Fiji)
Glen Vaihu (former Melb Rebels union)
Tristan Powell (fomerley with Storm)

All hoping to secure a NRL contract with Brisbane over the summer.

Aslo very strong rumours Peter Parr may be close to securing your GM/Head of Football position.

Never heard of the other three.

BTW, were they actually signed by the club or just sent to pre-season training by our QLD cup affiliates as part of their agreement with us.

Not a player signing, but have been told by someone with links to NRL there is a big change to Magic Round next year. You guys have been slotted in to play Penrith, rather than your usual opponents, Manly as in previous years. Will be on the Friday night as per previous Magic Rounds.

This has been known about for a while, Manlys contract with Suncorp was up after last season and Penrith will play Broncos as the home team because they have no home next year.

Manlys deal with playing a home game up there ended this year so that makes sense that we would get a new opponent. We were always the away team for magic round.

I doubt when he got behind the wheel he was thinking "**** the fans, **** the club", just like when any adult makes a mistake they're not thinking "**** it, I don't like my kids anyway". It's just what happened and as a result he has let down the club and the fans but that's not the reason he did it, I don't believe that for one second.

It does sound nice though for someone who has wanted him gone since Vegas.
