I feel like they might not be able to offer too much more than us... it will be the desperate teams like dargs, tigers, etc. but rorters have a massive amount of cap available with all the outs next year.

If we want to keep someone I doubt we lose them, just a matter of who we lose.....

Agreed... by my count we've only got 14 players signed for at least 2026... realistically we should have cash there to retain who we need to.

I would hope that we can retain Mozer, at least one of Staggs or Cobbo (but I think we should be able to retain both) and Willison (although he's going to get some attention from the market).

Some squad guys that shouldn't break the bank would be Jensen and Kobe.

My issue are the depth guys we've got until 2026... outside of Madden I don't see much use for them moving forward and would be hoping they're on near minimum contracts.

Maybe someone like Madden looks to move on to somewhere to get a better crack at first grade if Coby becomes the obvious 7 moving forward... but Rogers and Billy aren't going anywhere until end of 2026.

Yeah he could... but he's over 30 now and has a paycheck for the next two years.

I'd say he's not going anywhere next year and he's only moving in 2026 if another team is offering him a 2 or 3yr deal (like Capewell)... but by 2026 he'll be 32, so that's a big commitment for a team to contract Billy until he's 33-34yr old.

He could be looking at retirement by the end of his current deal.
