On Atkinson, one of him or Trindall are going to be the 6 moving forward and with Trindalls finals form there's talk of him getting a extension and a big pay bump. He's only 25 so the Sharks will have to go all in on one of them you would think.

Atkinson is versatile also. He can play in the outside backs if necessary. Has a good kicking game, can kick goals and even field goals. Keep hearing in all the media how there are no 7's available. Well, here is one. I think the risk is negligible at 23yo. He's an exciting player who can control the game and if his game continues to grow, he could be a 7 for the next 10-15 years. If his development stalls, maybe Black is ready toward the end of his deal. Either way, would be a spine player at a reasonable price.

Lets hope Trindall is MOTM this week, the Sharks win, and Atkinson is 18th man.

As far as the halves are concerned, we're just going to have to swallow it until Black matures. I can see what Kev will do already: Reyno retires, Billy gets moved to the halves to partner Ezra and we will have to put up with that dogshit for a few years until whichever comes first: Billy retires or Black plays himself into first grade, and that's assuming some other **** doesn't money bag him out of here like Dearden.
