Not 100% sure .. but I thought her legal team were trying to petition the court to have mum transferred down to Sydney?

Do you know if it’s going through mental health court instead of just normal court? If it is, don’t think we’ll hear much more about this situation. Can’t remember if they provided a reason for the request tho. But I thought it was around the same time that we were hearing a lot of noise around Payne’s last contract?

@tommy .. yea, having thought about it for a minute, I’m fairly sure that the request was made because her legal team was actually based in Sydney. It’s odd that her representatives of choice aren’t based in Queensland lol.

Hey, if payne really wanted that contract and his mum to be nearby, I'm sure he could have got his mum to confess to some of the bad shit she's done in sydney, so she can be extradited. The fact she hasn't done this tells me payne wants to be a bronco.

There is absolutely NOTHING to be gleaned from asking players about extending their contracts. This is the only answer:
1. My preference is to stay, but that's up to the club, not me.
2. I'll leave it up to my manager and the club to come an agreement.
3. I just want to focus on winning a premiership for my team mates and the fans.
4. I'm grateful for the opportunities the club has given me.
5. Like I said, I can't really comment on my contract. It's out of my hands.
6. I'm loving it here.
