I dont want to see Piaks at either titans or dolphins... way to close to home for a guy that has a lot of mates in the playing group.

Not sure what the deal is with Fifita but Courier Mail reporting that he's cleared to return playing but he's not suiting up...I assume for the Jets again

I hope the club are actually trying to get him back. Replacing Piakura with Fifita on the left would be like going from Jack Cogger to Moses.

Staeted on patnways at the Storm in 2016. Been with Cowgirls since 2020. Fomer NRL forward Adam Brideson, who played 22 games for the Bulldogs from 2002-07, has also been added to Brisbane’s recruitment-and-development team, focusing on pathways for your affiliate clubs to the NRL.

Well its decades too late but we might be finally doing something about our terrible pathways systems.

I will say juniors coming through cows have looked good in recent times.

Unsure if thats because nth qld kids want to stay in town ie. Jibasaki or if they've been better at finding them and convincing them to come to the cows.

He never had a poor attitude playing for us... panthers were also extremely interested in trying to get him last year until it was thought rorters had got him.

Raiders also after him... he's a talent, but those coaches are hard asses and would surely have done a bit of homework on him.

I daresay it's mostly been how titans utilise him... they just dont seem to get him the ball.

A couple years back they put Foran next to him and he had his best season, simply because he knew how to get him the ball.

I dont think it's ever been a fitness thing with him... think his dad used to have him running to school everyday or something ... or was that Payne's dad??

Saw on Twitter that we've got Dane Campbell from the cows (recruitment manager). What's he like?

Interestingly, this Campbell bloke flew down to Sydney in early 2021 to meet Reyno and his manager. At that stage, the Cowgirls thought they had Reyno ready to sign. According to my North Qld mate, Campbell is very highly regarded and scouted Tom Chester and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki, as well as a host of Fijian players for the Cows.

Depending on the deals for them, its a good shout imo. Big Tui is a solid performer, and we dont have enough of those. If the price is right, Tui and Fifita alongside Anderson could be very good business.
