Bizarrely, there already are some. Have we been misjudging the bloke this whole time?

I thought he might’ve got injured and Hunt came in? Don’t remember. **** thats a long time back ha.What was the deal with Motu Tony? Weird time in my life so I don't remember much of the details around it, did he pack a sad because he came to/wanted to play fullback and we had Khunt coming thru pretty quickly?
I think we were just desperate for a good front rower back then, was easier for forgive anything. This was just before Haas really became a full time first grader. He did seem like he turned things around for a bit, was good off the field for a while, but I guess it didn't last.Fair points but I included him because even though his large contract was unlikely his fault, it symbolised everything wrong with the club. He was lucky to be in league at all and so why the club gets him as much as they did for as long as they did, I’ll never understand it.
Jack Bird has been granted permission to leave the Tigers. At the right price I wouldn't mind bringing him back.
I'm with Sproj.
Now I don't think Lodge is the worse and I agree he had some quality performances at the Broncos which is more than you can say for the other contenders. At the same time even before the COVID rules he was a liability (watch Round 4 2019 and Round 8 2019 vs. Roosters and Rabbitohs respectively) and the Broncos didn't need him when they already had Payne Haas, Tom Flegler and Patrick Carrigan coming through.
The Broncos had to make a big call and they failed to make it. The narrative was always poised against the signings so anything less than a premiership and/or representative selection was always going to reflect poorly. Throw in a wooden spoon and getting unceremoniously dumped by Kevie (and later the Warriors) and it's a name that has to come up.
Strangely I feel sympathetic towards him. From all reports he cleaned his act up and even his recent response to Bennett was pretty classy.
To me, Lodge was a classic 'October' signing. He's not the player you chase, but for the right price and to fill out the roster he's worth a punt. Then when his value invariably goes up you move on.
It's a short term move and you should have so many irons in the fire you shouldn't have to live or die on those type of players.
Which is a round-a-bout way of me saying that the Grant Anderson and Josiah Karapani signings have me stumped.
Havent seen him play before what type of player is he?Excellent pick up, he looks the goods and means Black doesn’t just walk in, he’ll have to earn it. I’m a big fan of this kid.

Between Billy, Dozer and Mozer, I wouldn’t offer him much more either…
Add Bukowski to that next year as wellBetween Billy, Dozer and Mozer, I wouldn’t offer him much more either…
I think he is going to be the pick of the lot personallyAdd Bukowski to that next year as well
