I don't think we should fear losing Mozer at this point. His output certainly doesn't compare to the noise we hear about him. He is a nice player but he just hasn't produced at any level to worry about him leaving.

I'd say Bukowski is looking a more likely type.

Has accomplished more than most other starting hookers in the comp with a premiership last year,in saying that i wouldnt have been in to much of a rush to re-sign him

I think the plan for hookers moving forward would be Buk + Mozer (who I think are both signed to end of 2027 )... but you still need at least a 3rd hooker, so Paix would be that if/when those two overtake him.

Paix has shown loyalty to broncos and got through a GF... it's unlikely that any extension would be breaking the bank.. so Madge has a guy who is paid like depth, won't be looking to leave and he can put him into hooker if needed... and he's previously won a gf with that guy

My only annoyance is that Paix has been getting the majority of the minutes at hooker to start the year.

I dont care if we have to play Paix, but he's not good enough to be the locked in 50mins hooker each week.

Karp has levelled up immensely, but still some question marks around Deine... can definitely see the potentials with what Deine brings.

The positive is we should see Antonio Verhouven on the wing next year. Would be criminal to move Mariner from Centre now. He was defensively very very good

I read the same report. He did say it was not contingent on a player swap, but he went on to say that he hopes the Broncos will show him the same goodwill as the Wahs have shown us in the past
