There were games this year where we'd have struggled to defend even with 14 on the field.Or will he play as the 14th man on the field?

would be handy hahhaOr will he play as the 14th man on the field?
He's really in a category of his own as Middle Forwards go. In a squad full of big minute, bash and barge style Middle Forwards he's a genuinely creative ball playing Lock and there are hardly any of those in the competition, let alone already in our squad. I think he's got plenty to offer especially with a Broncos spine with so many question marks over it at this stage.
Yeah, not a bad comparison. I wouldn't necessarily put him on the same level as someone like Jason Smith, but he can certainly create stuff and not just as a running 5/8 either. So like a Feliti Mateo?
A bit Wade Graham in my viewYeah, not a bad comparison. I wouldn't necessarily put him on the same level as someone like Jason Smith, but he can certainly create stuff and not just as a running 5/8 either.
By being a solid NRL a grader. Not yet another of this ‘future superstar’ rubbish we constantly see.People are liking this signing.
I don't know why. Not saying they're not wrong, just not sure what they ask think he brings?
No decent highlights or footage out there.. how does he change the team's dynamic and help forge a win
Andrew?? This is the first I’ve heard of Macca’s running game or power.I have actually come right round to loving the potential of this signing. I have always liked it but was not sure exactly how it would change things. But the more I think about how Blair impacted us with his ball playing and offloading the more see Johns potential impact. Blair was a great foil for Milf with his offload and late passing, Asiata has the same potential to open up the game for us in the middle. We have been so one dimensional in the last few years, all we had to rely on was big Hass eating yards and Andrew with his running game and power out wide. With Pangai and Asiata we will have two good offloaders and Asiata has a better passing game also.
David haha he is essentially dead to me anyway.Andrew?? This is the first I’ve heard of Macca’s running game or power.
Yep, as always he comes across as a very likeable blokeAsiata: First Day As A Bronco
We talk to John Asiata on first day at the Broncos as a player.www.broncos.com.au
This is well worth a watch. He's super professional, well spoken. Very impressed, I hope he kills it this year and forces our hand to re-sign him for another 2.
The last part of the interview was A+.Yep, as always he comes across as a very likeable bloke
What is the actual deal with Asiata? Was he just stuck behind lolo at the cowboys and just copped the versatile tag as he’s just super handy to have on the bench? What’s his defence like? I know he’s got wicked ball skills for a middle but he’s also not overly big. He’s also only 27 so he should be in his prime. Is he talker on the field? Seems like he will be great for the culture of the club.
lots of questions in there but I’ve only ever really seen him come off the bench or play in the halves (randomly).
I think I've seen just about every X00,000 number between 500,000 and 1,000,000 mentioned by some journalist at one point or another in the last couple of months.Off topic but read an article claiming Matt Lodge on $800k p.a. with 2 year player option till 2022? I hear the word player option and my Tourette's plays up...I like Matt but not at 800k
