Even if you felt that ability-wise Lodge is probably the more complete player at this point, which is probably fair, he's also probably twice the cost, so you could argue that on balance for their respective salaries we would objectively be better off with Collins for sure.

Collins is a up and down plodder really...nothing flash, no frills prop...thats it.

And now he is a Origin player and will expect to be paid as such to come here...i just think we canfind what he offers here already...

Mansour, look who played inside him all year...no co-incidence he has the best year of his career arguably..

He will go to another Sydney club, wont have to move house or relocate that way..

So id pass on that...and realistically i dont believe we are a serious option from his POV anyway

I've always known he's from Brisbane so have been following his career. I think he'd be a good QLD prop to lead the Broncs up front. Would be a good step up for his career and I think he could do it.

If you guys wanna keep Bird, Milford and Lodge.. Do not complain about losing games..

I just say what I think is true. It doesn't matter if it's controversial. I never liked the Lodge or Bird signings from day 1 and they've done absolutely nothing to change my mind. Get rid of them I say.

Maybe we should concentrate on signing Queenslanders. Would love to swap Lodge for Lindsay Collins. I reckon Roosters may take that trade. Collins is a Broncos junior I think. Bring him home.
