Don't panic ... we needed this game to get some sort of cohesion back between Lockyer, Wallace and Ennis.

We'll be better off for the run by next week for sure.

What a f#cking disgraceful attitude from the team today. It SH!TS me how often this happens. Not good enough.

Gee, I seem to read this comment so often!

We have NO attitude, minimal creativity. little ability to vary a game plan which doesn't work and rely too much on individual brilliance.

As for cohesion between Lockyer, Wallace and Ennis, what a load of cobblers.

As I think Rocky posted elsewhere, if didn't win this game by 20, we have real problems - and we have.

In your opinion of course rnabokov ..... you seem like you pretty much know everyfuckingthing !

We needed Petro we have no forwards who do the hard yards. Thaiday was good the rest of the forwards were ordinary IMO. Doesn't look good for us but a change of attitude and a bit of time with Lockyer and Wallace in the halves and we are a real threat to the top sides.

I know what I see on the field - and what I see is the bleedin' obvious.

Lucky we're not playing the Bunnies. [icon_lol1.

Exactly.

The forwards will lift ..... have no fear

I wouldn't be so critical if we were playing one of the top 8 sides - but the Dogs? C'mon.

They still have a lot of quality players in their side ... and they are a team struggling to keep their season alive.

We should've known they'd bring along a performance like that today

I'm not too worried. It was obvious we weren't going to be anywhere near our best - Lockyer and Wallace back from loong breaks and the rest of the players were always also going to be a little underdone due to that holiday they had.

It will take us at least another 2 weeks to get to our best, just like back in 06.

I thought Lockyer, Wallace and Ennis played well, and in the first half, correct me if I am wrong, the team was flat as a pancake until Tunsa came on and showed what he is really made of.

Pity he's retiring.

And yet again we have Stagg in the centres or 5/8 with the same predictable outcomes. [icon_non [eusa_doh

Why not give Hoffman a run?

Stagg will hopefully move back into the forwards once Hodges is back.

I think I'll be really happy with what happened if Lockyer pulls up OK. We are still a very very good chance for top 4 if he doesn't get injured again.

We are NO chance of the top 4 - Lockyer or not, until the WHOLE team adopts some passion and creativity - like learning from Tunsa and Hunt.

The short turn around to Friday should do the boys good I think

Broncos were pretty flat today but the Bulldogs played really well, dogs are worst defensive team in comp but that didnt show today, will be much better next week

Pretty much. The Bulldogs actually looked pretty good today.

We'll definitely get better and better with each week for the next few weeks until we get back to our best.

I hope so - but what exactly do you mean by "get better and better", what do we have to do to achieve this, and, given we are now at a point in the season when most sides are playing their hearts out, what is "our best"?

Think back to 06 - all the players went on a holiday after the last bye, and we played like ass for the next 3 games. Afterwards suddenly we hit our best form and finished the reg season on a very high note.

I'm expecting a similar thing this year as well, maybe without us getting to the same type of form, but definitely being much better in a couple weeks time.
