Almost, we are a better team when our 1-7 and 9 play 80minutes. Glenn and Bapt to swap and then yes good team.

LOL McCullough rarely plays 80 mins anyway so what is your point?? I'd be happy for Glenn to start and Baptiste to come on for Tronc and pus Thaiday to prop!!

If McCullough was playing I would agree dragg but Baptiste is new and I fear for him in defence. Bring him on while the game is still in the balance and I believe he'd be destructive out of dummy half.

Ok so yes he averaged 60minutes last season. and 65 this season. I honestly was thinking he played alot more last season. In that case "Ivans a f***wit" Unless you are interchanging your Hooker for another Hooker i really don't feel you should do it.

1,6,7,9 - Should be 80minute positions unless 1. Its giving game time to another play maker (Smith,Hunt) or 2. Hooker gets injured.


As for the Hooker spot this week... Did Benny leave Instructions behind on how to pick positions for Ivan? We have other playmakers use them!!

And you could be right and i see your point however is it not better to have him on first when its 0-0 and play the nerves out?


None the less thou as well Norman is on the bench not Bapt and Norman has been there and should be able to play 80min.

No not really because he's a hooker who takes advantage of poor markers and would benefit from not having any defensive pressure.

Looking at stats towards the end of last season he played mostly 80minute games.

I swear Henjak is a goldfish and forgot everything that helped us towards the back end last season.

last season McCullough didnt play 80 minutes because we kept doing the stupid 2 hooker thing, which is fine if you have two first class hookers. we didnt even have one, yet we persisted with the tactic.

now that we lost both our other hookers, hopefully we can return to the 80 minute hooker that has ALWAYS been the best way to go.

Yeah, I've said many times that teams that have 80 minute hookers always seem to have a better flow in attack for the whole 80 minutes. Big fan of it.[/quote:31ogln2r]

Problem being Macca probably isn't ready for 80 mins of football week in week out. It would be ideal but Ivan obviously feels giving Macca a break is a better idea!

I can handle for Hunt, We need Hunt to get as much experience with the team as possible in a play makers role. Glenn however isn't a play maker and is best suited elsewhere on the field.

It takes him half the season to work out a game plan.
