Broncos Vrs Raiders; Build up thread

I'm picking Broncos to win this one. Please someone tell me I'm not delusional and they will win easy.

I'm not confident bigjim, but it's a must win if the Broncos want to make the 8.

Given our for and against, need to win 4 of our last 6. With our run, that has to start with this game.

I really think the Broncos have to win the next 3 games to have a chance. Those two away games are traditionally hard for the Broncos.

@ the people thinking K should be dropped.

He is still in the team because he is one of our best players whether he is leaving or not and will help us win the remaining games this season, much more than Hoffman will or B.Hunt. Not that I think K should be playing at half or anything, more that Hoffman needs to GTFO the lineup.

Has nobody thought that maybe Henjak is playing KHunt at halfback so Hoffman can get some more game time at fullback? Since that's what he'll be doing next year?

Wallace will come back to halfback when fit, and then K will go back to fullback, and Hoffman out of the starting side.

My thoughts exactly.

BHunt still has plenty of time left in his career to prove himself and step up, he's been getting exposure to the top grade gradually which is a good thing i think.

Wallace is, and will be, our #1 halfback for a while yet ..... let's give BHunt a chance to get his shit together before we go destroying his confidence.

Ben Hunt has another year of QLD cup so he will be sweet but Hoffman will be fullback next season so good call from Henjak IMO... Locky and KHUNT have a good understanding of each other they should go well together in the halves... We might even get to see if Khunt can kick..

That has been expected of Broncos halves this season.... Our kicking game has to be the worst in the comp it is woeful.

I also think it has a bit to do with the understanding Hunt and Lockyer share on the field. Could be a good combination.

Agreed, agreed and agreed.

Must win next three and must compete in those two away games and come up with a thrashing-ish performance against the hacks in the last round. Simple as that. If we somehow manage to do this - which would be a great achievement in itself, it should give us some sort of momentum going into the play offs. However, depending on who we come up against and where we finish we may not be a force but if we can get Folau back in there and our backline firing... we'll be scaring some teams.

It all starts tomorrow night. We lose this one and lets get ready for next year imo.

As long as thing with Ben Hunt is a one off. If Henjak keeps leaving him out I wouldn't expect Hunt to stay with us. That's how we seem to lose most of our juniors anyway.

How can you be so sure?... besides isn't Locky here for another 2 years...what if someone else offers him a first grade spot sooner?

having said that i strongly disagree with playing people in first grade just because you are afraid you will lose them, if it is not the best thing for the team
