I'm sick of talking about that embarrassment of a performance against the Raiders, so i thought we could talk about the upcoming Monday night fixture against the Sharks.

IMO, since we are now all but out of the race for the finals this year we should concentrate of 2010 and beyond and giving the guys that will be at the club some NRL experience, thus IMO, we should no longer select players that will not be a the club next year.

so, the team i would select for next rounds game is:

01. Hoffman
02. Winterstein
03. Carroll
04. Hodges
05. Copley
06. Lockyer
07. Wallace
08. Kenny
09. Marsh
10. McGuire
11. Thaiday
12. Glenn
13. Parker

14. McCullough
15. Te'o
16. Hala
17. Sweeney/Sims

*** I would drop Michaels and move Tunza to his spot because of his defence and to tighten up that corridor
*** I don't think McCullough is quite up to 80 mins of footy yet, so i would start Marsh and have McCullough come on when the defence is a getting tired.
*** The only reason i haven't selected Clinton is because i read in another thread that he is out for weeks.

Tunza back in the centres like the good old days. Love it. Why not, lol.

Tunza in the centres is a step back if your looking to build for 2010. I'd say just throw Copley or someone at left centre and let them have a crack.

he certainly can't do worse than Michaels

At least we'll know fo sho that Tunza won't miss tackles lol.

I don't mind the team at all, Foordy.

1. Hunt
2. Winterstien
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Hoffman
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. McCullough
10. McGuire
11. Thaiday
12. Glenn
13. Parker

14. Taylor
15. Carroll
16. Hala
17. Marsh

We all know that KHunt won't be dropped. But, I do think Hoffman should be given game time. However, given Michaels was punted we may see him dropped.

1. Hunt
2. Hoffman
3. Winterstein
4. Hodges
5. Copely
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. McCullough
10. Taylor
11. Thaiday
12. Te'o'
13. Parker

14. Glenn
15. Setu
16. Hala
17. Carroll

I think the McCullough decision needs to be made in house, based on how he's feeling at training and during the week.

He might not quite be up to 80 minutes yet, but if he's handling it ok mentally and physically then leave him there IMO. He might drop off towards the end of each half, but if we're looking at next year I think it's important to get him used to playing a full game as soon as possible.

1. Karmichael Hunt
2. Antonio Winterstein
3. Alex Glenn
4. Justin Hodges
5. Dale Copley
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Peter Wallace
8. Nick Kenny
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Dave Taylor
11. Sam Thaidy
12. Tonie Carroll
13. Corey Parker

14. Lagi Setu
15. David Hala
16. Ashton Sims
17. Ben Te'o

Hoffman isn't going to learn anything playing with a defeated side. Let him develop his game in the Queensland Cup and allow Karmichael to play his natural game.

I really can't think of a good defensive left centre. I don't see any point in blooding somebody and Michaels deserves to be dropped.

Starting pack is much better.

AWTA.

At the start of the season when we were getting go forward he was one of our stand out players. Obviously still has a lot more to learn. Certainly can't win the game on your own from dummy-half, but you go a long way towards contributing to a win when you're playing well. He was definitely more comfortable when the side was settled at the start of the season and the combinations were working well.

I'll probably head into Lang Park for this game. It's been a while since going to a Broncos game that wasn't a derby or double header.

The Sharks are playing Parra atm, hope for injuries. [icon_lol1.

Its going to be a cripple fight, both teams have been crapola of late, both didnt score a point this weekend and both have fairly large injury tolls. I hold hope that we can win, but not much haha

Exactly and that is why it hurts so much as a fan. We have a good enough side yet we have played like wooden spooners for the last 4 months.

Did I see Copley on crutches in the news footage of the Broncos at the airport?
