Ok, we have the Tigers next, this game is a home game on Friday minus the origin players. also Glenn will still be out injured along with Hodges.

so i'd go with this team.

01. Hoffman
02. Kemp
03. Copley
04. Winterstein
05. Yow Yeh
06. Norman
07. Wallace
08. Tronc
09. McCullough
10. Setu
11. Te'o
12. Gillett
13. Parker

14. Hunt
15. Sims
16. Kenny
17. Anderson if fit (Dodds or McGuire if not fit)

If FInch moves to Wests before the match, we are going to get rolled IMO. Hopefully Farah/Heinghton are picked for NSW.

Finch's manager has denied that he is heading to the Tigers.

One player who definitely won't be an option for the Tigers is veteran Melbourne playmaker Brett Finch, despite reports on Melbourne radio on Saturday that a move back to Sydney was imminent.

"No, the mail's wrong - he's not going there," Finch's manager Steve Gillis said.

Why won't Hodges be there?
Wasn't the the last update a round 18 return, he could return one week early. It wouldn't surprise me to see him back this week tbh.

This will be a really tough game, especially if Farah is there but IF we play with enthusiasm and effort there is no reason why can't win even if Tigers are full strength.

I think he is still expected back after the bye.

Farah will play. NSW will stick with Ennis. Heighington should get picked for NSW.

Beale is not due back from injury until round 19 according to the Broncos website, it also says that Anderson is due back next round (round 17)

I'd have Te'o in the centres, with Gillett taking his spot in the second row.

Agreed. Gillett would fill in for Thaiday, we need Te'o in the other center position, especially since we won't have Glenn either.

2- Kemp
3- Winter
4- Te'o
5- Yow Yeh
6- Norman
7- Wallace
8- Tronc
9- Macca

You just said in the other thread that you didn't think Gillett belonged in the centres and now you want to throw him back in there? I'd rather keep him in the second row and bring in a junior to play centre.

He was interviewed at a Broncos game 3 weeks ago saying he was 6 weeks away.

Do the maths :P

1. Hoffmann
2. Kemp
3. Copley
4. Te,o
5. Yow Yeh
6. Norman

17. McGuire.

I dropped Dodds because I just don't think he is doing enough at the moment.

There's no way Hodges will play this weekend, not with the bye next weekend.

They'll keep him in rehab for a little longer than they need to i think, seeing as though he's prone to injury these days.

If we are still winning games I'd like to see Hodges kept until round 22-23 or so!

No, no, no, no, no... [icon_razz1

He needs to find his feet back after such a prolongued injury and be firing on all cylinders come finals time. That requires more than 3 or 4 weeks IMO.

I'm not really 100% sure on who to have in the centres. I'm pretty keen to give Kemp another shot as Winterstein's weakness really got pressured last night. Winterstein is a really strong runner though and is still a really good player so I would give him a go in the centres since we will be missing our 3 best centres (Hodges, Folau, Glenn). From reports Copley has really gone off the boil as of late so I am tossing up between Te'o and Gillett for the other centre spot. I would like to see Kemp play outside Te'o or Gillett as I reckon he could thrive outside a big offloading player but that would mean someone would be playing on the opposite to their proffered side but oh well.

I can see Ivan going with the same backline just with Te'o coming in for Folau though. Which I don't have a problem with...
