Broncos Vs. Bulldogs - Build Up Thread

The Bulldogs are going in with an equally small bench though.. 14. Tim Browne 15. Gary Warburton 16. Blake Green 17. Ben Barba.

Barba's tiny, pretty sure Green's a half/hooker, Warburton's a backrower and I'm presuming Browne is a prop. The difference is, the 'Dogs have Hannant, who will probably get through more work than all our front rowers combined.

Steve Michaels??????? Where the hell did that come from, has he been playing the house down in Qcup or something? Again with the backs on the bench but this time there is three. I just cant see how Ivan could possibly justify having Beale, Norman and Michaels on the bench. This bench would have to go down as possibly the worst bench of all time. Ashton Sims must of pissed Ivan off something shocking because him not being on the bench is ridiculous.

I cant see the value in having fowards playing in the backs and then stacking the bench with backs. Now i am assuming that at least one of beale, norman and winerstien will be dropped. What team has won a comp whilst having two or even three backs on the bench??? No team because it just doesnt happen. I cant remember a team sheet with three backs on a bench!!!!

Michaels is 18th man, which means if he plays someone else wont be, Yow Yeh is probably the one under some doubt...

Setu has played 2 pretty good games the last 2 weeks... averaging 112m from 13 runs and 7 hitups, 2 offloads, 22 tackles and only 2 missed... he deserves to be there...

Why? because he scored a try last time he played?

Did you see the way he turned his back and jogged into position in defence?

He did it more than once and we were scored upon directly from the second or third time he did it because good players spot those mistakes and wait for it.
He needs to fix that before he comes anywhere near the NRL again.

No I didn't notice any of that, perhaps a bit of exaggeration. Maybe he made one or two mistakes, but so did Setu, he made more which cost a try every time. Beale hasn't been that great in defense as well. I think copley is the best of Michaels, Beale and Setu.
