The problem is that if he was selected for Origin, he wouldn't have played the weekend before (so that round wouldn't have counted) so Origin wouldn't take an extra match in place of the bye.

I don't know 100 % but if he was going to be defiantly picked as in the team already announced then why not. But then again, didn't the Broncos do this with Lote way back when and then the NRL moved to change it so teams could count origins...... dunno

If he was suspended for his actions in round 12 for 6 weeks, that means he misses round 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and round 19.

So he's back for round 20.

I think attitude more than bulk changes is the key to our season turning the corner next week.

Hodges is back in Round 20, Origins and Byes do not count regardless of whether he would have been selected or not.

If that was the case he would already be back by now, because Origin (2 & 3) plus the bye would have shaved 3 weeks off his suspension....which is silly IMO.

Sims wasn't too bad, Clinton is the one that needs to pull his finger out. He's done nothing all year. Forget QLD Cup, he needs to go see someone who can help him hang onto the ball - he's good for at least 3 drops a game and given thats usually early in the tackle count it puts too much pressure on the rest of the team.

I could hardly believe it when i read that Sims made 17 and missed 16 that is a joke and he should spend next week in reserve grade for it. The Bulldogs missed only 2 more between them as a team.

That is a joke, Lockyer who can't tackle for shite doesn't even rack up totals that high. The guy played one good month of footy and has done nothing since it. He and Clinton have both been wastes of money thus far.
