Did anyone find the way Archer was talking to Thaiday about the quick tap a bit smug or taking the piss?

And is it just me or are the refs being really pedantic about certain things this year ie kicking for touch and it gets brought back because he was off the mark by 30cm and then when they rekick there off the mark anyway.

what ?? The only thing wrong with the team in 2007 was poor mental application, take a look at the names the Broncos had playing that season. The only thing wrong with them, at least in the early part of that season, was poor mental application, as you see with just about every defending premier over the past decade, apart form Melbourne.

The squad of 2010 is a shell, a monkey skeleton, of what the club has had in previous years.

Yes, that and experimenting with fullbacks, centres and halves.

I still find 2007 to be worse than 2010. At least in 2010 I didn't think we had a chance of winning another premiership.

07 according to memory = we were definitely contenders until Locky did his knee then we lost about 6 more troops and it was all over?
Those sort of seasons are torture but nothing you can do about them

Yeah, I was confident we would go back to back until locky did his knee and it went downhill from there.

Yup before we lost Lockyer we were looking at a finish of about 4th-6th in the regular season and coming home with the wind in our sails. Very frustrating.

Yeah, 2007 we lost Ennis (for the season) early, Round 8 against the Rabbitohs. It was during the 5th game of a 5 game winning streak that Lockyer got injured in round 18, which has seen us jump from 15th to 5th (with a bye). We only managed to win two more games and the poor end to the season was compounded by injuries to Hunt, Hodges, Tate & Berrigan.

Oh yeh thats right - I thought Hodges was still alive - yeh I remember now... at the WRONG end of the season as well. We pretty much gave the Storm a freebie to the PRELIM.
