The issue Russo is having is that in his opinion the two posters in question do not contribute anything other than garbage, yet when something is levelled at their beloved Taylor, they all of a sudden lose their sense of humour.

Can't say I agree with Russo about ning, I find a lot of what ning posts is a pretty good read.

However, these two have shown an obvious liking for Taylor in the past so that's why they got all cranky. If it was De Vere, Nashy would be making the same sort of comment. Nashy is the biggest hypocrite on here by far.

Hell's yes - freaking hodges - he's great and all, but only for the handful of games he plays a year - when he's not nursing something from a rep game or suspended

Lets be honest - Tails can't get much bigger - but why would we run him when we should be running McQuire? (I always liked Taylor, but why waste the time on him now??)

I guess this is a bigger issue that arises with players signing so early, it can mean that they don't get to play much footy simply because they've moved on, both sides have a reasonable point of view and in the end, both of them suffer

Agree ddd. It's a fairly strong argument for midseason releases in a way. Doesn't do Taylor any good languishing in lower grades, and doesn't do the Broncos any good playing him in first grade.

I agreed with not selecting Hodges in 2001, and I'd agree if Henjak ignored Taylor for the rest of this season too.

The problem with Taylor is that he is way to good for QLD cup but only good for very short periods in the NRL. I think we should play him but only because he adds something to the team. If McGuire is in good form I would play him ahead of Taylor.
