Quai-ward & Roberts out, TMM to start @ 7 with Mariner @ centre & Gamble bench

With roberts out we may not get to see the best out of ezra and TMM who are both running halves. As Roberts is your more traditional half and I think playing next to him would be a more accurate demonstration of how they would go playing next to reynolds.

Will be interesting to see how mariner goes. Out of interest for those who know, is mariner a left or right centre?

What happened to Roberts and Quai? TMM must be pinching himself, to think what he is coming back from. Could make one hell of a footy fairy tail if he impresses his way into the team.

I've only seen his highlights reel, but he looked to be on the right.

it's the first trial. the fact that he was omitted originally says far more about his position in the pecking order than the fact that they've brought him in late after a couple of withdrawals.

I doubt he'll get much game time. maybe just 20 mins to get some rust out

I meant demotion as in he wasn't playing but now is. I thought Kevvie had chosen between Kelly and Gamble to play this trial at the last minute, thus revealing who the favourite is. Then I remembered Kelly is playing All Stars

EQW has done very little pre-season with a wrist injury.

We're actually driving up for next weekend's game. COVID has prevented us from attending a Bronco game for the past two seasons. We've got Round 2 vs Cant. locked in as well. We are going to attend as many games as possible before the inevitable happens again.
