So if you were gonna select off nothing but this game, it would have to look something like this

1. Niu
2. Pereira
3. Staggs
4. Cobbo
5. Farnworth/Mariner
6. Mam
7. Reynolds
8. James
9. Walters
10. Haas
11. Capewell
12. Riki
13. Hetherington
14. Gamble/Paix
15. Carrigan
16. Flegler
17. Palasia /Piakura/TC Robati

19. Turpin
20. Jenson
21. Kennedy
22. Lee

Isaako, Oates and Turpin are really up against it to get a run at this point. More competition for spots than we've had for years which is a problem you love to have. Would not be surprised at all to see both Oates and Turpin sign with the Dolphins during the season while they're trapped in Reggies.

Gamble with the nice short kick, Mariner could be putting pressure on for an outside back spot.
Love to see this, really makes you happy to know we have this depth of talent. If some of blokes want to go to the Dolphins they can and will be replaced.

**** I can’t think of 17’s name but he is ours young and good apparently.

I know its only a trial, but i think Wynnum could be in for a tough year in Qcup. They look like they have very little fight in them and look a bit clueless.

are they pretty close to full strength in this match?

2x 5th tackle offside penalties on our try line so far... not sure if it's some bias reffing or discipline issues, but we've been pinged a lot this game

Ben Nakubuwai is listed as the 17
17 for broncs has been Jensen.

Might've been referring to 17 for Wynnum... I thought he was the big unit?? Think the commentators also mentioned the Wynnum 17 jersey was shared across several players for some reason

Really happy with that. Done everything we had to do, players who needed to stand up did. Cant ask for any more.
Yep really good first outing.

Only conceded one try from a charge down, and put 50 on the opposition (including a lot of missed conversions).

First trial is typically the depth players, so if they are the depth players then it is good to see them put on a score regardless of the opposition
