Judging by most peoples feelings on here towards Bruno...maybe an ex player would appease the masses. I never saw Bruno playing in a Broncos jersey and he is apparently useless.

Didn't matter for John Ribot and Shane Edwards...they were good, and neither played for the Broncos. Edwards wasn't a player at all AFAIK.
