Folau didn't seem to struggle at centre last season did he? Well I can't remember him struggling at centre at Melbourne, didn't he get Dally M Centre of the year??Coxy said:TimB9670 said:It's farcical the Broncos paid big money for Folau if he's only to be a winger!!!
*facepalm*
Seriously, have you watched Folau play? He's not a centre...yet. He can develop into one, but he's not a good reader of the play, doesn't hit gaps, doesn't defend well, doesn't communicate well.
And frankly I would've paid Tuqiri $400K a year to keep him in league back in 2002, and he was "only to be a winger".

His inability/unwillingness to take a highball that is in proximity to chasers is a massive concern.
And yes he's young, but he makes dumb errors every game.
I want him to succeed, i've got nothing against him and I hope he does - but i'm not confident.
So... those that are Hoffman tragics, tell me why.
Already said it in another thread, but beale looks a million times better. I am aware that he is currently injured, but if you had the choice between hoffman and beale - why hoffman? What does he have that is so special?

Denan made his first grade debut for the Broncos in Round 10, 2007 against the Manly Sea Eagles. During the game Kemp scored an individual 75 metre try. This try was voted as the third best of the 2007 season by NRL.com.
In 2008 Denan Kemp started the season strongly coming up with 4 tries in his first 3 games. He went on to play twenty four games for the club in 2008. In Round 12 he scored 4 tries while playing against the Parramatta Eels, equaling a club record that he now shares with Lote Tuqiri and Steve Renouf. The record came just hours after he had announced that he was joining the New Zealand Warriors for the 2009 season.
