Given how the broncos apparently do contracts, does an uber driver count? As long as there’s a respectable witness I’m guessing?

What about the 5 or 6 (depending who you ask) legal requirements to form a contract. Offer, acceptance yada yada yada?Long time since I studied law. Not a lawyer. Don't take my advice.
But contract law is mostly common sense.
Yeah all that, but none of it is relevant to this situation. He hasn't entered a contract with the club verbal or otherwise until he's "signed" the written contract. There's nothing to see here. What about the 5 or 6 (depending who you ask) legal requirements to form a contract. Offer, acceptance yada yada yada?
A verbal contract is a bit like an MOU really. Pretty much useless.
No one else is fapping? Why do I still have that sinking feeling no one else is coming?
Not to the broncos anymoreNo one else is fapping?
Given he is probably one of the best backrowers in the competition, If we got him for 500k it's a steal, especially when you consider our position.Everyone in this thread is panicking over contract value.
Relax boys, Paul White can't hurt you any more.
All there is if what Capewell says is correct is an agremeent to agree which is basically unenforceable.Yeah all that, but none of it is relevant to this situation. He hasn't entered a contract with the club verbal or otherwise until he's "signed" the written contract. There's nothing to see here.

What type of cider? Dickens?fwiw i didn't hear it from anyone linked to the broncos or the panthers, so steady on with the pitchforks, we could go down to the old mill instead, get some cider
Agreed. So he could say we agreed that he agreed but he disagrees he agreed and so we should all agree to disagree that we agreed.
For the last time people, if you put it up on the teleprompter, Wally will read it.
With Capewell coming out and saying he hasn't signed anywhere this may actually backfire on us.. It seems someone at the club has leaked that he is/was going to sign.
He may not like this, similarly to how Bennett didn't like that it was leaked he was going to the Roosters all those years ago. He then backflipped as a result.
It isn't often we see this from players (with a personal video). If he now signs it makes him look a little silly.
I don't know how this will end, but hopefully we do land him.
This is spot on. The people in the club can't seem to keep their mouths shut. It was reported David Fifita floated the idea of signing for the Titans for one year. And then come back to the Broncos when they had their salary cap in order to offer him a big deal. The Broncos rejected the idea.
Was the leak true? I don't know, but it certainly made Fifita look like an idiot. And Fifita was quite rightly furious this had got out. And any chance of Fifita taking less to remain at the Broncos was damaged by this debacle.
The Titans kept quiet on signing Justin Holbrook as their coach until he had informed his club at the time in English Super league. It doesn't seem that the Broncos ship has the same discipline.
EXCLUSIVE: David Fifita’s 'disrespectful' Broncos counter offer revealed
The most prized asset in the NRL has made a bizarre contract offer that will make him both a Bronco and a Titan at the same time.7news.com.au
