Carney boozing again

**** lets sign him for the rest of the season. Carney for next season....
good idea!

sign him for $20k for the rest of the season, and sign him for 2 more years - $100k next year, $600k the year after.

have him help us win the premiership this year, keep him next year, then have him leave so we never have to pay the big $600k backend of the contract. works for other teams, why shouldnt we take advantage of it?

Oh Roosters. That'll teach him not to do it again.

Oh Roosters. That'll teach him not to do it again.

Right up there with the Hans Brix (sic) school of discipline.

Hans: "You must stop drinking, or else."
Carney: "Or else what?"
Hans: "Or else we will be very angry with you. And we will write you a letter telling you how angry we are"

He still has to face the board doesn't he?

Carney to front board to fight for career

Bad boy Todd Carney will have to front the Sydney Roosters board next week and fight for his NRL career over his latest alcohol-related indiscretion.

Carney and teammates Nate Myles and Frank-Paul Nuuausala were on Wednesday issued with serious breach notices by the club after breaking a team alcohol ban with a long drinking session at two Sydney pubs into the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The trio were all stood down for Sunday's NRL clash with premiers St George Illawarra, but of greater concern for serial offender Carney will be his looming appearance before the Roosters board next week.

Looks like we found our 6 for next season, And he will come cheap!

Carney will never play for the Broncos.

Fact.

Surely it's no different to our resident alco from the 90's

What Nashy said, how many slaps on the wrist can you get?

Carney is a lost cause. Time to cut him loose and stamp him "never to return".
What about rehabilitation? :shady:

When he admits he has a problem, I've got no doubt rehab will fix him.

Because he won't admit it. The **** can lay bricks till he's 60.

Yeah, you're right Coxy, a Nashy is easy to catch... :loser:

He said he was going to AA.

Ohh yeah. AA, where you go what? One night a week, and then go back to hanging out with the rest of your mates who are in a club with a serious drinking culture.

If he, or the people around him were serious, he would have taken time off, and found real help.

I hate you both. Coxy a little bit more cause he a grumpy old politics man!

Coxy is just getting ready for the complaining he will have to do on the pension next year, Don't be so hard on him Nashy.
