besides the CCC aren't as stupid as ASADA ... they would have had hard evidence before revealing their hand

I imagine the flow on effects will be more along the lines of possession rather than distributing, so I expect the penalties would be a lot lighter for that kind of stuff, both criminally and from the NRL.

whatever penalty the NRL had down, it will be a hell of a lot harder than the 3 weeks the NRL gave to the drug cheats

Wonder what exactly the legal rules are on speculating about players involvement in recreational drugs. I remember the Daily Telegraph ran an article in 2007 saying that a Broncos player had been subjected to rumours of recreational drugs. Nothing else in the article to say there was evidence, just that they published it was a rumour.

Please don't post it here. If it's not a recent article relating to current events don't post it. Strictly no speculation on who might be involved. If an article from mainstream media names player we discuss that only, but no using past articles to put two and two together as that's speculation which we can't have.

Maybe the detectives don't start until 9.00am and the people haven't yet been formally charged. There is plenty of today left gents.

It was supposed to be in the paper. Or at least that is what the media led everyone to believe. Good promotion I suppose.
