I agree we shouldn't lose Barba ... i want to see how he performs next season first. he had a bit going on at the start of the year and that affected his performance IMO. New city, new team, new style of play, ankle injury that hadn't fully recovered, his psychological issues that he was trying to deal with, Griffins bulk everyone program ... oh and the biggest one of all is he had Hoffman as the 5/8. all that combined would have made life tough for plenty of quality players, but he was showing some good signs towards the end of the season.
as for ditching Kennedy and giving his money to Boyd, that would be a mistake... we are short in the front row as it is, so if we are losing Kennedy we should be giving his money to a big, tough, young prop. not a winger who wants to play fullback (we already have one of those)

We've stocked up a bit in the offseason, and still have a couple of good young juniors around, but i still wanna see how Kennedy goes with some decent coaching at his disposal.
If he fails to perform next season then sure, cut him free.

i've said it plenty of times but i will be extremely disappointed if barba goes.
i had a dream last night that in rnd 1 2015 we got carved up by the sharks. now i read barba might be going there. ahhaha come on (i realise there is no chance the nrl would schedule broncos v sharks in rnd 1).

Cronulla would happily take anyone with a name and I can't blame them in their current state. I would be very dissapointed if Barba left as he is a player that needs the right guidance and support to succeed which Bennett can provide.

I want Kennedy to remain and prove his worth under WBs coaching. Barba can stay too as he would improve, Hoffman can do as he pleases and please retire Hodges or better still, give next years money back and find a new club, Titans ? Looking forward to Boyds return, at last a class fullback, great defence and sound attack. Nice change that. I'm still sceptical he will return but it is looking more and more likely but until I hear the man speak ( or it is announced )I will not be convinced.

Serious? Did you watch Hodges play this year? He still has plenty to offer our side and justifies his price tag unlike some bludgers in the team.

If Barba goes it is because Bennett does not want him, so why would any of you wish for him to play under Bennett and see if he can get the best out of him.
Obviously WB does not see the value in him if he goes of course.

bennett has never actually said he doesnt want him. journos will write their stories but i wont be convinced of anything until i see some confirmation either way. the only actual quotes from bennett relate to barba being a confidence player and hopefully he can get that back in him. walters also said he was looking forward to working with barba (hard to know what he knows about bennetts plans, of course).
