Copley signs with Sydney

The sea eagles aren't anywhere near my top 4, what do other people think?

Edit: lol, probably because I don't like them.

Parra will finish 10th and it'll be lolworthy.

Good move for Copley, plenty of bars and cafe's in the bondi area that he can practice pouring beers in prep for his future career.

Dude's got a quality education level - was doing Pharmacy but now Law I think?

People are just being spiteful now.

Yeah, pretty smart move from Copley. The two clubs I'd like to be associated with to develop contacts post football career would be Broncs and the Rorters.

Only reason I said that is because they're stacked with talent, they're going to win games early in the season whilst other teams are getting their shit together purely off skill / speed.

It may take them a while to fully get going (And a lot of it depends on how Walker goes at Five-Eighth, which is anyones guess), but I think they'll be top 8 for sure, and I'm pegging them for a sneaky top 4.

What an absolute load of bollocks, regardless of how his footy career goes this kid will do alright from his uni studies. And I am backing him to do really well at the Chooks.

That Copley video shows me how much we are going to miss Hodges.

I think the Copley video says a lot about Jack Reed as well, but I guess we can all just look past that right?

The first two-thirds of the Copley video was just routine winger stuff. But at centre, he looked right at home. A lot of those tries were extremely impressive - often surrounded by a swarming defence and still able to get to the line. His right foot step is potent for someone of his size, and I noticed he was pretty sharp off his left too. And his upper body strength to through the defenders to get the ball down, and also to get his arm free for those few awesome assists, well I'm just sad to see him go.

The difference I can see with Copley is that he has the physical prowess over Reed. Any day of the week. Reed has the football smarts though. You can't just "teach" Reed to be faster and stronger, but time will tell whether Copley can gain the football smarts.

Ah shit..

It took me this long to realize I left out a try.. The Hodges tunnel ball pass to Copley against the Titans in 2014.

Fucking hell.

That's because it's a Hodges highlight.

Some things are just meant to be Freaky.

hahahaha, yes studying absolutely guarantees you a job upon graduation.

He has one, he's studying for a second (as far as I'm aware)

Anyway I don't even know why I'm involved in this discussion, it was originally a throw away comment based on the fact I don't rate him as a player and don't think he'll do much at the Roosters, and then people started to QQ.

You can't teach someone to be stronger or faster? Ah shit. Guess that means everyone's natural ability is all they have. Good luck anyone who isn't born a prime athlete. ..

Dumbest thing I've heard :P - sorry haha

I think it's the other way around. You can't teach someone to have a good instinct and vision as easy as you can work on someone's style. That stuff is . Experiencemostly physical. Mental is the hardest to teach. Takes years to learn certain things. Why Reed has more value.. experience counts.
