Hey I believe that's the interpretation, and you're right, most tackles Sam is involved in could be called dominant, but they're not. And by going down face down he's doing so to be in a better position to get up quickly for the play the ball.

I know early in his career he'd plough into the defence and get "turtled". He's obviously overcorrected that problem by being too submissive.

That's all I'm saying.
 
Got the stats on that? Stopwatch on every play the ball involving S. Thaiday? :P
