I think ofa is about one of the only players that is on decent coin (that would free up a reasonable amount of funds) that we could afford to lose and other clubs may be interested in.

Apparently Broncs have agreed to upgraded salaries for Fifita and Haas in the proviso that they play for the Roosters and Rabbitohs respectively AND should a career ending injury occur, Broncs will provide additional compensation and take the full contracts on as double the agreed amount. And Boyd automatically gains an upgraded extension.

Again, with Dearden being so young, he is inevitably going to go down with injury at some point next year. Who you gonna replace him with, Turpin? Even Lockyer has said Dearden is not ready for the role fulltime. You gotta have decent back-up in these critical positions. Not fucking Turpin again.

If we can not get Croft we should definitely go in for Blake Green who has reportedly met with Anthony Seibold. Blake Green would bring in so much needed experience also has a good kicking game. Have him for 1 or 2 seasons and let Dearden develop in the Qcup for the next year or 2.
