has he re-signed for next year yet?
has he re-signed for next year yet?
According to Chris Garry on twitter, he has re-signed till the end of 2016.
Friggen hope so!
Yep, would love something official about his re-signing. Although Chris Garry is usually pretty on the money with anything broncos related
he said in his tweet that copley told him this directly
copley just needs a solid run at centre..if they give copley the same amount of games they gave hoffman at 5/8 he will cement his spot there and relegate reid to the bench...he has amazing potential and I believe he has not recovered his top end speed yet which is only a positive for us because he is doing well at 80%...
My only critic about Copley's performance tonight was that he didn't go looking for the ball as much as he should have.
No he's not a fullback. He's a big fast centre and it's part of his job when our forwards are tired from tackling for 3-4 sets in a row to get in and help out by taking a hit up or two
....much like most outside backs in the NRL do.

Copley is signed to the Broncos until the end of 2016, the club showing faith by re-signing him when he was injured.
Brisbane Broncos speedster Dale Copley’s baseball snub finally pays off

Dale Copley of Brisbane scores a try.
IT PROBABLY cost Dale Copley millions of dollars but his bold decision to ignore a Major League Baseball career is finally paying off.
The Broncos centre revelation has revealed how he ignored advances from Major League Baseball clubs to honour the sport in his blood — rugby league.Seven years after he dropped his baseball bat and committed to the Steeden, Copley is in the form of his career and is the NRL’s equal leading try-scorer with 15.He has scored three tries in two weeks and forced Jack Reed out of the left-centre position he once had a mortgage on.

When Copley was 15 he excelled as a baseball out-fielder and hitter and was one of the youngest ever members of the MLB Academy on the Gold Coast.American clubs even sent feelers out to the Brisbane-raised talent but on the eve of his 16th birthday, Copley quit the sport to concentrate on rugby league. The average MLB salary is $3.4 million dollars and while Copley would have been one of thousands fighting for a contract, the fact American clubs were inquiring about him as a 15 year old suggests he could have made it.

“It is not a beat-up. Promising is probably the best word to describe it,” Copley said of his MLB prospects.“I was one of the youngest to go through their academy.“MLB clubs aren’t allowed to formally contact you until you until you are 16 but there were some interested clubs but nothing could be spoken about as that was against MLB rules. “I don’t think any athlete at 16 thinks about money. It is about love. I wasn’t thinking about contract size.
“Every now and then I will watch a game and think that could be me or you hear of a $30 million a year contract ... but nah there are no regrets.

“I was an outfielder and hitting was my strength. I did a bit of pitching but not at a high level.“I had a decision to make between footy and baseball because it got to a stage where they weren’t distinguished seasons.“They were overlapping too much and I was getting injuries from doing too much.“I had to pick one and footy got the nod.“I just loved it (league). It is in my family. My dad played, my grandad played and it was just the game that I loved more.”

Copley’s feats this season are even more impressive because last year was a write-off for him. Copley is signed to the Broncos until the end of 2016, the club showing faith by re-signing him when he was injured.
“I trained really hard and got myself in the best nick I could to make a successful return. I had no expectations of how it would go but I am happy so far,” Copley said.
