Lol, hey I didn't turn it from Copley to Taylor, all I was doing was trying to finish it by confirming how long he is signed to so the subject can move on, dunno why I am being singled out lolYeah, but it's the Ash Taylor forum.

My bad lolI think everyone knows he's signed until 2016, we were discussing when Dale was signed until :P

I find it interesting that Kahu has seemingly jumped Copley for any outside back position.
You'd think it should be in this pecking order:
Fullbacks - Boyd, Kahu, Maranta, Nikorima, Eden
Wingers - Kahu, Maranta/Vidot (equal-ish)
Centres: Hodges, Reed, Copley
But instead Dale appears to be fourth choice centre with Wayne preferring, when Hodges it out, to move Kahu in one place to centre and name both Maranta and Vidot.
It seems to me this is unfair on Copley, who is probably more proven that Maranta and Kahu. He probably has a right to feel he should be next in line once Hodgo retires, but at this rate, maybe Kahu is the anointed heir at centre? Thoughts?
Copley is out for 4-6 weeks from a fractured eye socket.
I think his chances of playing for the Broncos again in 2015 are over.
Personally ,I dont really get all this Copely love. To me, his a poor mans version of Chris Lawrence from the tigers. Lawrence promised a lot in hes early years, but never really delivered on that promise, due in part to a lot of injuries. IMO, Copley will be very much the same.
I may be proven wrong, but at this point in time, Kahu, an even Reed, offer much more than him to the team.

Last year showed bits of brilliance, but again spent a fair whack of the season on the sideline.
