Went Haas, Lodge and Coates

Haas and Lodge set a great platform (too bad no one played off the back of it... as usual).

Coates was pretty good tonight... had that great tackle on Gags, don't recall any errors? also broke up the play a few times in defence.

Notable would be Niu... gave away the intercept, but I thought the play was on, he just got rushed by the defence and pushed the pass. If he waits a second longer he's past Gagai and has the center open for a flick pass

Haas - easy.
Coates - probably close to the best game he’s played for us.
Niu - if he could get a decent rub at fullback could be very promising.

A mention to Paix too. Looks like Goliath compared to Turpin’s David when we are attacking.

Niu is the next Isaako - an over-rated FB. Calling it now

Lodge and Haas no one else is worth points tbh.

Haas - no explanation needed. Only one deserving.

Coates - that try saver and an improved attitude. But let in two tries the same way he always does.
Niu - I like his energy. But went missing in defence a number of times in the second half.

Not unhappy Coates is leaving. Niu might earn an extension.

It's almost like coming on for 20mins and not making 40+ makes it easier to be active out of dummy half.

Haas is letting his shitty goal line defence creep back in, really needs to have reduced minutes until he fixes it. Kevvie basically leaves him out there until he ***** up, then hooks him.

Made just less than half of the tackles Turpin did, but had a 3rd of the miss tackles than Turpin.

Let's have a look at the averages? That's the most misses from Turpin in a while.

You think Paix will be able to play 80 mins, 40+ tackles with minimal misses and still be as effective? If so, he should start.

Will he be as effective? No definitely not, not overnight anyway but he showed a spark Turpin could only ever dream of having. I hope Paix keeps getting more and more minutes and eventually, if we don't get Hodgson, replace Turpin by the end of this season.

No I don’t think he should play 80 just yet. But should be given more minutes.
