[h=1]Video: Former NRL star Dave Taylor attempts a back-flip, in double pluggers[/h]
FOR a big man Dave Taylor possesses a surprising amount of agility, well at least he did on the footy field.

But as it turns out his athleticism doesn’t extend to acrobatics, as evidenced by an epic face plant as he attempts a backflip ... in double pluggers of course!
The Catalans forward, standing on the side of a country road, attempts an ambitious backflip but gravity has other ideas.
As he flips his body over, his legs don’t follow and he ends up face first in the dirt.
See the hilarious backflip fail below:

Man I laughed when I saw this earlier.

Can't access the article. What does it say?

It pretty much just explains what an idiot he is.

He tried to do a backflip and landed face first on the ground.

There is a video of it on his instagram account.

Has there ever been a more gifted, naturally talented player who promised so much and delivered so little?

Quade Cooper.

Nah

Cooper was/is a superstar. Won a bronze medal at the World Cup, won games on his own at the Reds and played a major role in the 2011 title. Has had some great performances at Super Rugby and Test level.

Seriously struggle to think of anyone who wasted their career as much as Taylor. Mundine maybe, Seymour maybe?

Owen Cragie just came to mind

Tim can't remember his name but played for Parra, it's just gone.
Carney
Learoyd-Lahrs
Clinton
Bott
And possibly the king of all:

Taumata

Tim Smith was his name

I think he is up there as one of the biggest waste of talents.

Cragie is another one. Some of the shit he did was unbelievable, and he just wasted it all with his drinking and gambling addiction.

But I think Dave Taylor is arguably the biggest waste of talent. The potential that guy had.. He was a game breaker in 2009 and was a crucial part in turning our season around.

Then after that, he becomes nothing. Because he is lazy and lacks the heart to reach his full potential. He could have been something special.

Julian O'Neill, what a waste of talent right there.

I also think Tame Tupou was a bit of a waste of talent.

He had speed, strength, good finishing skills.. He could have been an excellent winger and a long term winger for us if he didn't have so many issues.

Tim Smith might have a genuine excuse though. Wasn't he diagnosed with the go to condition of being bi-polar?
