Hitman, Henderson's father died of cancer. He wasnt dropped, he was given leave. Vatuvei was moved so Locke wouldnt get smashed in his first game against Tuiaki. He would have came in for Kemp regardless.

I agree that its stupid blaming the Warriors problems on Kemp. He probably shouldnt have been dropped, but the kid that came in did the job, and did the job well.

What I meant was Locke was not unfortunate enough to be paired with Ah Van, who Kemp has struggled with.
If Vatuvei wasn't shifted to Tuiaki's wing I seriously doubt Locke would have had such great opportunities in attack. Ropati may be a chump but he can certainly set up his winger - Vatuvei just tends to have massive communication issues with him recently, and they both make numerous errors.

Regardless of why Henderson didn't play (Cleary mentioned in interviews that he was keen to see what effect a new hooker would have on our team dynamics, hence my assuming Ian was dropped) Heremaia was VERY solid for us in the first 20, and Hohaia played the remaining 60 minutes for us at hooker and was awesome. Henderson has been guilty of lazy service and slow looping passes from Dummy Half - Heremaia and Hohaia were both very sharp and defensively solid.
Either way, Kemp is now our number 3 winger - he will get more opportunities, it just remains to be seen if he is keen to hang around and wait for them.

All those of you who make mention of Kemp's form "coming back" and claiming that wingers don't win matches, etc are very correct.

The form and culture of the club you choose/chase employment with must be a massive consideration. Not only will it immediately reflect your own personnel form, it will have a direct bearing on your growth as a player and growth in terms of representative football, therefore adding to your worth as a player (in both monetary and personnel gain).

Some kids forget that when they leave for the quick bucks......oh hai DT.

Michaels was in the 25 yet they select kemp over him? what an absolute disgrace, I feel terribly sorry for Michaels, he should of been a dead certainty, in fact, should of been their regardless of injuries.

heard a rumour today, kemp is not happy in new zealand, maybe a few personal issues. Apparently there has been contact with the broncos and they might bring him home. hope so. before he left locky said he could play origin, kid's got crazy talent.
just a rumour but i heard it from a pretty good source.

Kemp might be unhappy in NZ? Shock. Given how he's struggled on the field and he's away from friends and family that's hardly a surprise.

Whether he comes home or toughs it out, I hope he finds a way to be happy so he can play his best football.

true mate, but in the same rumour was that the broncos interest was increased because K is unfortunately leaving. Apparently K leaving is a done deal they just haven't announced it yet.
would suck if K does leave, but if he does kemp may help a little as extra FB option.

well Kemp signed with us on relatively low pay, considering his form last season. So his lacklustre form this year will certainly have him feeling bleak about his financial future, even more so now that Locke has swiped his first grade jersey. If Kemp acts sad enough I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Warriors release him before next season. No point having under-performing, unhappy players in the team.

If K leaves I think Kemp would be the perfect replacement at the Broncos.. Also he has speed which I think would be very handy at fullback running outside Lockyer.
