I have loved that part in the media though. I definitely think we have issues and that performance was concerning but according to the media, we're ****ed. Meanwhile the Roosters etc....early season rust, will learn from that game blah blah blah. The Raiders also blew a 24pt(?) lead, was much said about that?

It's the same with Su'a's shoulder charge. Buzz was so worked up over the 'dog shot' he needed half a bottle of vodka to calm down, but no mention of Jennings doing the exact same thing to Mansour.

The media will always work themselves into a froth over any story that involves the Broncos. It'd be flattering if it wasn't so pathetic.
 
I'm starting to like all this bad press, it's definitely setting up the Broncos vs the world mentality.
I don't think anyone would argue that all is well and that we're right were we want to be but addressing these issues early in the season might put a bomb up the boys and get us back on track with a focus on proving the shitstains south of the border wrong.

Save the season, **** me it’s round 1.

We had a forward pack that didn’t go forward. Joey and Locky wouldn’t have done much behind that pack.

We made dumb errors in our own end of the field and gave them easy penalties to let them out of their end.

But keep writing us off lol cos Bennett won’t have printed some of these articles off to stick up around the place as motivation

You're looking at the wrong episode. Walt Whitman is mentioned at 23.50 in episode 4 of season 4. I may not have recollected correctly but because I knew of both Wordsworth and Whitman I may have got that reference confused. My mum(an english teacher) read poems to my little sister and I when we were very young.

When my younger sister and I were very little my mum( an English teacher ) would recite poems she liked. Amongst them was a poem by William Wordsworth called 'I wandered lonely as a cloud', we liked it because it had a short story we could easily imagine and because my mum had a way with words. If you want to think I didn't know who he was, fine. I won't bother with this anymore.

I think it's fair, still. Out of all of those games, I don't find a team that came out and looked as hopeless as the Broncos. It wasn't just rust for us, is was full blown no halves, and a terrible defeated attitude, starting with the captain.

Disagree. We were certainly the worst over the weekend imo but the sky isn't falling, we aren't ****ed for the year and the team hopefully got a wake up call from that. Agree about Boyd
 
I think there is serious questions to be asked about this footy team ! We don't seem to be moving forward like most clubs.

From round 3 I need to see some vast improvement to get some confidence back. I'm writing next week off, I can't believe I'm actually going to go watch that trash.
 
For me - this Thursday will determine where our season will head.
