FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

He's definitely onside.

Fucking finally.

They're checking it.

He looked onside.

They're checking Varane.

He doesn't affect anything.

Common sense prevails.

Varane doesn't interfere with anyone that had a chance of getting to the ball.

Now don't go to sleep United. It's not over yet.

Hand around the throat.

Cas got a red card for that last season.

Lol of course nothing happens.

Unless it's Casemiro that does it...

And that's game.

It was scrappy as hell but they got the win in the end.

Shit results last night.

Forest were reemed and well and truly paid the price for missing their good chances.

Man, just watched on delay.

Didn't even celebrate when Nunez scored because I was waiting for VAR to ruin it. 😂

What a win.

Onana, Bruno and especially Rashford, take a bow. What a fucking hit that was.

Please keep it up.

**** off ref. Walker fouled Rashford twice in a couple mins, got nothing and the 2nd one leads straight to a goal at the other end. Unreal.

Soft or not those pulls back on the arm at pace are always given as fouls.

Its the hope that kills you.

Another day that foul is given to Rashford.

Another day that Ederson tackle could be a penalty and they don't score up the other end. He got the ball first but that hasn't mattered for years now. Reckless/dangerous doesn't matter if you get the ball first. Seems he gets a pass as he is the GK.

3rd goal is just garbage mentality. Amrabat so poor.

City deserved to win, and Rashford missed a couple of solid half chances after his goal, after that we offered next to nothing.

Just frustrating to concede goals directly off the back of stuff that easily could have been given fouls.

Arsenal killing it atm. City vs Liverpool will be epic (hope they draw).

My English team (Southend) have had a real rough time in the last few years. Bad ownership had them in a tough spot this season, being deducted 10 points to start the season. But the players have fought hard and after a new year slump, seem to be back to winning ways. They are still only 6 points out of the relegation spots, but there's a bunch of other teams around as well.

The 10 point loss was a killer as (if they win their game in hand) they would be in the playoff spots if they had kept the 10 points. But there's new ownership and good signs for the future at Roots Hall.

I can remember going to Roots Hall quite a few times. Always a good weekend away in Southend.

Not sure if anyone posted but another great moment in English lower leagues, AFC Wimbledon beat MK Dons with a 94th minute winner. Given the history, this was like the feelgood moment to end a movie. Amazing scenes.
