Personal terms agreed with Jarrad Braithwaite.

Just gotta negotiate the fee now.

If its true his wages are to be instantly higher than Lindelof and Martinez, pretty ridiculous.

It's an improvement on just offering him 250+ but still.

So it looks like United winning the FA Cup has cost us Todibo.

Talks were well advanced and both parties were keen but because Nice and United play in the same European competition next season and have the same ownership, UEFA rules forbids it.

I wonder if United can still get him on a technicality with Glazers still owning United.

We can play in the same competition next season because INEOS only have a 27.7% stake in the club so why can't we sign Todibo?

The same rule should impact City signing Savio from Girona.

We'll see.

Read somewhere Citeh are divesting their interests in Girona to just under 30% now so they have no conflict.
Yeah saw that too, there's also been deals among the red bull teams but apparently they were given exemptions due to different boards or something.

Completely understand why the rule needs to exist as long as it impacts everyone the same.

It could become a very complex issue in the future, especially with a team like Newcastle who's owners also own pretty much all the major teams in Saudi.

Pretty cool. Been signed to play 18s apparently. The more young Aussies in prem systems the better for Australia national team.

United have apparently bid/had a bid rejected depending where you read, for PSG midfielder Ugarte.

Not going to pretend I've seen much of him, but I am very glad to see we are;

A) actively pursuing midfielders
B) seem to be looking at a wider range of targets to avoid just overpaying for the first one where talks are positive.

I'm glad the Olise deal has fell through.

When it comes to priority signings, a winger is at the bottom of the list. He does provide creativity which is something we do need, but we desperately need a holding midfielder,a striker, two CB's and a LB.

While they dont seem to be falling into the trap of overpaying, they have been offering massive unders for some players. I get the feeling there isnt much money to spend this season at Old Trafford. If thats the case, the need to spend more sensibly and thoughtfully than in the past.
