It's a huge loss because no real good CBs on the market and he's a $60-80mil asset walking out the door for free (after TAA). It's not as if he's old, given us his best years, and is going to a mid table club. He's in his prime and going to literally the best team in the world. If he's good enough for them he's more than good enough for us.
Too many LFC fans have their heads in the sand about our current situation under Slot and Hughes.

Things are a mess. Jones and Gomez will be next.

it is a concern yes that he's walking for free but it's not my money so I don't get too caught up on that front.
We don't play in the same league as PSG so he's not going to a direct rival.
He may be in his prime but he's still inconsistent and has been for some time - you'd be silly to argue otherwise. We don't need a name, we just need a competent CB until Leoni and Jacquet (hopefully) makes the step up. It's not as if Konate is leaving and we have no young cb's either. Lacroix has been mooted as a potential option as well.
I've already mentioned Slot reeks of Rodgers at this point but until upper management makes a call there's really no point stressing. Whatever will be will be. Iraola has apparently said he'd only move to Leverkusen or Liverpool this summer - so perhaps something is already in the works.

Name one that we can get of a similar quality to Konate that isn't going to cost at least 50mil.

I don't have an issue with losing him per se, it's about replacing him and that he's gone for free.

Crazy that Konate is the only CB in our squad who's in his 20s.
 
Fabrizio reporting United won't renegotiate with Barca and won't entertain another loan.

Its the right play to see if they get a better offer from someone else before going back to the loan route.
 
Apparently Barca are planning to bid £11 million for Rashford.

I would rather let him rot in the reserves.

It’s obviously caught the attention of the ref now so just move with purpose but still take your time lol. It’s not like PSG have had no ball though they should have no complaints.
 
Saka getting a yellow for that is a ****ing joke.

Didn't even touch him and if he did it barely grazed him.
