The Bulldogs will shortly announce that they have signed Broncos hooker Michael Ennis - and take it as a sure sign that Brisbane are feeling vice-like pressure when it comes to their groaning salary cap. They had an option in their favour to keep Ennis after this year but had no choice but to let him go. The Doggies will be Ennis's fourth club in six seasons.

Seriously, kick Bruno Cullen out of the club if this is true. Ennis wouldn't have asked for anywhere near as much as Folau, and he would have been oh so much more useful to us.

Ugh, it would totally blow if true. [icon_thumbs_do

Don't know why the need Ennis anyway. They've got Hughes (okay, he is getting old) and Sullivan.

Is anyone here good at art and canmake me a little Bruno doll to stab... Ennis is a key for the club next year I would rather lose Lockyer next year tbh.

As much as I hate the media, they rarely make this sort of stuff up.

I hope someone kicks Bruno fare in the buts. Cockhead.

If this is true i say we start a "SACK BRUNO CULLEN" campaign

So many of us have said that Ennis must be a priority signing. Dammit.

The Dogs at least have realized that Ennis is showing his true potential, will be their long term solution for hooker, and as I have posted, he will be up there close to Cam Smith pretty soon.

As with Lockyer's knee, the Club looks to have made some serious blunders.

Great way to show appreciation there Ennis if this is true, Broncos stuck by you through your knee injury and this is how you repay? .. right.

They had no option but to stick by him. They contracted him and he was injured, legally, they had to.

SO true Mal te Bulldogs have alot of Money to throw at players though so he might be getting a massive offer.

As I have said, professional football has become just that - a job, and as in most employment matters, you go where you get top dollar.

Club loyalty? That is ancient history.

Oh God please no!!!!!!! Anywhere but the Bulldogs....

The article says the Broncos "had an option in their favour to keep Ennis after this year but had no choice but to let him go."

If that is the case, I don't think we can blame Ennis for this one.

No, not anywhere - we should have re-signed him when we had the chance.

Or don't we have any money left in the bank, or ah, Cap?

I wonder why, and who makes the decisions about the Club's future and priorities - like key, specialist positions like hooker?

We have a wealth of backs and forwards - but not in the number 9 department, which, to a large extent, was the reason we struggled for so long in the past.

At least we've got Wallace.

I feel sick just thinking about Ennis leaving.. He showed potential before he came he was injured for alot of his time here and now he will leave playing the best football of his career. DIsgrace Bruno

First time that he's been injury free and able to play in position, and now we're losing him. That stings.
