I am sick now.

When I say to them break a leg, I will mean it.

Those dirty dog colours suit Ennis. Hannant, not so much.

It thought the other way around. Im so used to seeing Ennis is gold and maroon....

I'm used to seeing them both in various jersey's anyways.

And they will go to another club once these contracts expire.

Is it just me or does ennis have this slight "superman" look to him, he should take the field in a suit and glasses then rip them off clark kent style at kick off and run round with his undies on the outside of his footy shorts.

Then again I could just get off the LSD and get back to reality.... nah the top option sounds more interesting

I don't.

I just wish they had found a way to stay here. Both asked for more than what they are worth IMO. Oh well, good luck to them in an inferior club, I'm sure it won't affect Hannant's Rep selection chances any..........

Will probably enhance Ennis' rep chances - NSW don't like picking players that are Broncos (with a few notable exceptions)

Yes, they are dogs in every sense of the word.

Agreed with the pricing issue, without sounding harsh I think players are asking way more than they are worth these days in relativeness to the salary cap.

They were offered 350 at the dogs, the broncos couldnt compete with that, I think if anyone was offered almost double what they were on to do the same job somewhere else im sure the thought would cross everybodys mind to do it.

Well done especially to Ennis, several serious injuries & his father passing during his time at the broncos..This time last off season he wasn't even the broncos 1st choice hooker, always had Buderus, Riddell, Berrigan & Marsh ahead of him up until the end of the 1st quarter of 2008. Even had him filling in at halfback during 07.

Finally he will start a year as the 1st choice hooker - plus earning 350 grand. Good on him!

Ennis is on ~ 280k, if that's true, then it's a bargain not asking too much in any way at all.
Hannat however, 350k... lol ripoff.

Fair enough, good on him for allegedly earning 350, I think it's closer to 250-280 mark IMHO.

The reason I'm dirty on Ennis is he came up here at end of 06, to an offer which by all accounts the Dragon's balked at matching. Then he hurt himself immediately and 07 was a complete write off. Broncos stuck with him and he reached career best form in 08, only to leave because "Broncos can't match his current worth". What he was really tabled and what he left to the Dogs for are something I'm not privy to, someone has led me to believe that Cullen didn't even make a bid, yet someone else told me that the Broncos offer wasn't far off what he left for. Either way, we stuck with him and he is now the 2nd best hooker NSW have. And he left for cash.

As for Hannant, I'm dirty because he came up here as not much, he scored rep jersey's and pissed off for big cash down south. Once again, fair enough, money talks. That said, much like Asotasi, I think a move to the Dogs wasn't in his best interests to develop as a player. Of course, he and his manager would know more than me.

Ennis will be the dogs best buy for next year provided he stays injury free. And if he's under 300K which I think he is that makes him good value in my mind. With Hannant I think he's hurt his chances of pulling on a maroon jersey again now, he did well to make his debut this year but now he's playing down south I worry he'll get overlooked.

I really hope McCulough gets a decent chance at 1st grade next year he could end up being better then ennis in a year or so anyway from what I saw of him this year he showed he's got real tallent.

Ennis came here at the end of 05.

He played about 8 games & did his knee & missed out on winning a GF ring.

I am more dirty on Hannant, as he said he would never leave QLD & they show him the gold coins & he p!sses off.
