PLAYER Ezra Mam

His punishment is what I expected from the courts, I don’t know what everyone thinks is the appropriate punishment here. You basically have to be a repeat offender or severely bash/kill some one to get jail ha. He was never going to get a mega fine either.
Pretty easy to reoffend when you only cop $850. Initial punishment needs to be much higher to act as an actual deterrent imo.

Yeah. $850 might be a bit more of a deterrent to junkies or low income but that’s sort of it.
It’s not even a deterrent to them because they chuck it on their sper account and keep breaking the law

Welcome to the clown show that is the Queensland justice system.

Oh well we might get an episode of a current affairs with mum and daughter on now.

You're a bigger criminal for reading a text message at a traffic light than for driving off your face, unlicenced causing an accident. make it make sense.

I'm OK with the fine and DQ .
The outcome as it was, was so so lucky but he deserves a chance to learn from it.
We find out now if he is full of shit or this is the making of him.
I'm believing what I'm hearing from him though and think we get the best version of Ezra from here on.

Besides the court sentence, Ezra has undertaken rehab and pleading guilty would have been in his favour besides first offence. It will cost him heaps for damages due to the injuries and the cars.

...and suddenly the Broncos have control of the legal system in QLD according to some. Excellent

Yep, just look at some of the comments on our Facebook page, the Broncos are being protected by the legal system.

Idiots.

I doubt a company would pay though if you were unlicensed and on drugs.
