PLAYER Ezra Mam

I remember when people wanted Ezra Gone from the broncos what he did. Man people hold grudges for way too long

It's pretty obvious Mam and Walsh are best buds, but I'm unsure if them being at different clubs would help or hurt them. I've always said Mam is overrated, ideally us signing up Duffy for 2 years is showing we are willing to look outside of Mam starting. Hope he invests well, because he won't see 800k/yr again, he is more likely to take the Milford route.

Damn, what the hell went on in this thread?!?

Mam has played well in patches over the past two years, so he has it in him to play well, however he's never been a great defender. Pulled out some big hits that make the highlight reel but otherwise gets found out far too often.

He is equal for the most missed tackles with Tom Starling but Starling has completed almost double the amount tackles (230 vs 445). He is a liability at the moment and unlike Walsh (which still pisses me off) Mam has no upside to counter his mistakes.

I think he should have been dropped completely to be able to get some game time in the QRL. A month or two just getting back to basics away from the cameras could be what he needs. Having him sit on the bench doesn't help his game.

Ezra Mam in the GF was outstanding, his physicality was the stand out for me in that game.

Hopefully he can get back to that, he's a quality attacking player that's not really up for debate, we've all seen how good he is.

He’s down on form and confidence. These things happen. Can’t really call him mentally weak when he played through all that booing from those Sydney ferals. That game last year against the dogs where he silenced the crowd was one of our greatest wins ever.

I thought they got free food. At least they used to in the Mackay maccas back in the day.
@Jason Simmons can you confirm this please? dunno if browny is still around or under another pseudonym?
Uniformed police often get discounted food from the golden arches, yes. Sometimes free, but not often.

Those that partake. Fitness is my passion however… 🤣

Ezra is way too inconsistent to maintain his starting spot. I struggle to see how he has improved any aspect of his game, which is below the expectation of a professional player. He also looks to be injured constantly, but it's hard to confirm.

He may still prove that he deserves his spot, but for me he has not earnt these opportunities he is being provided with. I'm calling bust and I hope we move on.

His kick at the end was the most obvious blunder last night but something that bothered me was when he got chipped over, he just lazily turned and tried to half has body check a kick chaser. It wasn’t until he saw Kini was going to beat Walsh to the ball that he started running which was obviously way too late.

Just lazy
