Final Thoughts

After a turbulent off season filled with the Greg Inglis & Ivan Henjak saga, we had a great season. Anthony Griffin has proved he is the man long term and Paul White has done a wonderful job.

Whilst nobody will replace Lockyer, I am sure the coaching staff already have a plan in place to counter that.

The dissapointment I feel tonight is excatly the same as when Wayne Bennett departed in 08. Not so much about the loss, but more about Darren Lockyer who has been part of the club for so long.

Lets be positive and have faith we will be able to go a few better next season. We have some potentially great young talent, who are sure to be the next generation of Broncos.

Overall I think the season was a win. We have a young and potentially epic forward pack. We unearthed a quality coach who i think can lead us to glory and be a man stay at the Broncos for many year to come. All we need si someone to play in the 6 next season. We really lack a clutch player going forward, hopefully Hunt or Norman can be that clutch players.

I know what you mean Jeba, we built the culture of the club back up after Henjak and even Benny let is erode. 2012 will be a big one in regards to the future for he Broncos. Bring it on.

Yep, the negativity is gone from the Club. We are the club we once were, the club we know, the club we love. Griffin is the man to lead us into a bright future. I just don't see us winning it again without a solid halves combo. with that said, So proud to be a Broncos fan. I love our club!!

Once we have a real half next to Wallace. Someone with the confidence to organise. Someone with a good long kicking game. Someone who knows the right play to make. Someone who stays calm and collected.

Well that's the thing, Wallace can't do it on his own with a non-existent 5/8.

If Norman steps up then we can be successful next year.
Overall I'm very happy with our season.

Great thread, so much positivity. We have done very well this season and I'm looking forward to next year and beyond. :-)

Here are some of the highlights that I can think of ATM:
- Hoffman just keeps getting better. He will be our fullback for a long time.

- Macca has definitely stepped it up a notch.

- McGuire - easily the best prop towards the end of the season. Has outplayed Hannant.

- Lockyer's last home game. Unforgettable.

we need to find some attack. its lacked all year - we've been very flat with little creativity.

overall though, and i might need a few days to actually appreciate it, but its been a sensational year, and im very proud of our team.
