Finals 2010

Anyone playing outside Izzy will look shit. Izzy doesn't pass the ball and spends half the match so far in field the winger has to defend on his own.

Hodges and Yow work awesome together and look to know each others game well. They also look to trust each other something I don't think Yow and Izzy had.

Hopefully Kemp/Inglis can get the same kind of relationships going.

Kemp is like Kelly.
Early in his career Stuart Kelly was a decent finisher.
But that all he had, speed.
He would continually get dominated in tackles.

LOLZ, serious??? really??? Are you High??

FMD, why can't people be happy we have BOTH Kemp and Yow Yeh in our squad. There's no need to argue about who's better FFS. They'll both be starting next season.

This is one of the most pointless arguments I've ever seen.

They'll both be starting next season.

With Gagai banging on the door I wouldn't be so sure.

One thing is for certain, our stocks are looking promising.

Big Dave makes a valid point, although Kemp does have agility on his side too.

Wingers need to come in help the forwards out.
Look out Vidot last night, always put the set on the front foot.
Something that Kemp needs to develop.

Pretty sure Gagai will be a certainty to play first grade. Whether it is from round 1 or due to injury or poor form I look forwarding to seeing how he goes. I agree our wingers need to help our forwards more. Our forwards need to help themselves a bit too.

Wasn't Yow Yeh included as 18th man for Origin this year ?

It seems people more qualified than anyone here seem to think he's a talent.

**** me. Brad Meyers played for QLD and Australia.
Steve Michaels has been a fixture in the "emerging QLD Origin squad".

18th man in an Origin game is not an indication of anything.

Yow Yeh HAS talent, yes. But he was as inconsistent as Wallace this year and needs to be on notice to shape up next season or ship out IMO.

Sorry, my mistake.

Obviously the QLD selectors and coaching staff don't have a clue what they're doing

Surely they pick the worst player they can think of to join the camp and learn from a winning team environment.

Yea that attitude will do wonders to instill confidence in the kid.

Yow Yeh sure does have talent, a whole lot of it. Now if he is slacking off, fair enough, but if it's a case of a lack of confidence, which it looks to me, taking your approach does nothing but ensure he comes back to bite us when he goes to play for a club that will let him develop.
