First try in the second half is crucial, if we get it then we'd tough to beat with how we've been defending, they haven't really looked like scoring against our rushing line.

It's been a really committed performance from the Broncos and from the opening set they showed they weren't going to take a backwards step. They've done really well to go set for set with Melbourne and have been winning the arm wrestle but just can't put them away. Melbourne are reading their shifts extremely well and Brisbane haven't been able to get on that roll-on that allows them to blow teams off the park.

Both Carrigan & Walters were the key men for me in attack leading into the game. They've had their moments, but there were some key misses that could come back to hurt them. Walters has taken some really odd choices in attack, even that kick in the corner that ultimately gave Brisbane two points should have been a line-break right up the guts.

Patty and Fleg need to work on their timing as well.

Big 40 minutes coming up. The longer Brisbane keep Melbourne out of it, the better.

It would be to use Herbie's speed on whoever his opponent is when he swaps sides, they're still defending on their planned sides.

Storm's homework is always good, so throw something at them that they haven't planned for. Low risk, potential reward, not the worst idea.

I feel like we're missing Oates' early set carries.

We're buggered, and the Storm have had 2 free interchanges, maybe more if they use free ones to bring those players back on. So it may play a part with fatigue.
