Hey @Superfreak, I have found a lift but thanks for the offer. I'm really excited to be at Parker's very last game at Suncorp. Hoping the biys will lift for both Parker and Reed and give the titans a wakeup call.

You should find the YouTube clip of Kahu smashing Jason Bukuya.

Apart from which, who do you suggest is competent enough to play left centre which Kahu is, Hurrell or no Hurrell (who anyone who knows how to tackle can bring down)
How many time Kahu start at left centre position this year and how many time he finish the whole game without injured. This year he got too many injuries playing at left centre.

Opacic is a blow. His partnership with Oatesy is starting to develop nicely but we have a handy replacement in Pearson. The kid is a real finisher and a good prospect. Kahu will need to aim up in defence on Hurrell though and I have full confidence he can do just that.

Opacic not playing is bad news, he's been huge defensively and super reliable in attack.

On the bright side it'd be awesome to see Jonus bag a few tries matching up against the guy we're rumoured to be chasing to play on the wing!

THE NRMA insurance Broncos have been forced into a late change for tomorrow night's elimination final - but it is one they can cover.

Centre Tom Opacic is out with a shoulder injury for the do-or-die clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium.

Opacic injured his shoulder two weeks ago but it has not improved enough this week for him to play in the high-stakes match.

The Broncos have a ready-made replacement in international Jordan Kahu, who will slot in from the wing to his preferred position of centre.

Youngster Jonus Pearson will come onto the wing.

Pearson made his NRL debut against the Eels on August 12, impressing with two tries in his first NRL outing.

The rest of the Broncos' team is intact for the match, with the winner of this game to play the loser of the Storm-Cowboys qualifying final.

The loser of the match is eliminated from the premiership race.

what a huge game for a kid to come into. good luck to him.

opacic just a kid too so we aren't losing too much in terms of experience, though he's obviously had more time to settle in to first grade.

pearson will get tested at the back. hopefully roberts is on his game and gives him some support/block/stays alive in defense to clean up any situations.

Losing Opacic is bad news for sure. We finally had our left centre spot getting some consistency. It weakens both sides of the field not because Pearson isn't the goods but purely because it breaks both sides' combinations.

That said, we HAVE to go right all night because Roberts-Pearson has some serious pace on that flank.

I agree we need to be going right but we also need to be using Milford as much as we can, so hopefully he is swinging around to link up will Hunt a fair bit.

What with shoulder injuries with broncos players this season? shoulder injured player are oats, reed, opacic, Gillett, kodi.

id be suprised if opa's injury is all that serious, but WB sure knows when and how to blood them

this will be the last 'safe' chance to really test anyone else out.

actually suprised to not see Offa or Ese'ese for that matter

Requires surgery. Has carried it for a few weeks but couldn't get up for this week.

how is a safe chance? its sudden death from now on

apostrophes allude to the relative literalness of the quip, safe being the measure of playing the fucking Titans

So he won't play again this year or can it be delayed?

He played injured last week, and can be managed. This week it had flared up and didn't settle on time, or he would have had an injection to play.

A lot will depend on how we go tomorrow night I guess. If we win well, and Kahu/Pearson go well, we may not see Opacic until 2017.

Broncos will reintroduce the style that saw them beat the Storm in Melbourne a few weeks ago for this game, and moving forward into the finals.

Aggressive, fast moving defence with fast, wide ball movement in attack.

Should be fun to watch if we get it right!

There is no doubt last week was a red herring for us, very little to play for and while it was lacklustre, the team got it done.

From this week on, there is everything to play for. I just have a sneaking suspicion the Broncs have flicked the switch and the Titans won't know what hit them tomorrow night.

Why can't we play that style every week ?
